Commencement RSVP & Ticketing Process

See below for important dates and deadlines related to the Fall 2026 commencement RSVP and ticketing process. For more information, contact the Registrar office at diploma@kennesaw.edu.

Please Note: Only students who RSVP to attend the December 2026 Commencement Ceremonies by Monday, September 28, 2026, will be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremonies. Students who submit their application to graduate for the December 2026 commencement ceremonies before January 18, 2026, will receive an email to complete the Commencement Participation Agreement and to RSVP via the "Commencement Attendance" platform to attend the ceremonies by the required deadlines.  Students are responsible for checking their ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ student email for information regarding commencement, commencement participation agreement, Tassel, and ticketing information.

  • Deadline for Fall 2026 to submit the application for graduation and to complete the Commencement Participation Agreement. Students must submit the application to graduate and complete the commencement participation agreement to be included in the upload to the Commencement Attendance (Tassel) portal to RSVP to walk across the stage in the December 2026 commencement ceremonies. Students who do not meet this deadline will not be uploaded to Tassel and may not be eligible to go across the stage in December.

  • Commencement Attendance (Tassel) will open for students who applied to graduate and complete the commencement agreement by August 31, 2026, allowing them to confirm their attendance and select their complimentary guest tickets. A maximum of four (4) tickets may be selected. Additional tickets may be available for purchase at a later date.

    Students will receive an email from diploma@diploma@kennesaw.edu on Tuesday, September 8 when the portal is open and ready to accept reservations.

    *Doctoral candidates will not be entered into Tassel and will coordinate with the Graduate College for their attendance and ticketing.

  • Commencement Attendance (Tassel) Portal closes for students to RSVP their attendance and to receive guest tickets at a later date. Students who do not RSVP by the deadline will not be eligible to go across the stage in the December commencement ceremonies.
  • Commencement Ceremonies dates and times will be posted to the commencement website. Ticketing dates will be posted on the commencement website at this time.
  • Tassel Phase II opens for name pronunciation for all students who submitted a Tassel RSVP before September 13. Assigned ceremony dates and times will be posted in Tassel at this time.
  • Emails and text messages will be sent to students via the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ student’s email address regarding the information related to commencement and tickets from June 1 through December 14, 2026. It is each student's responsibility to review their ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ student email and follow the instructions related to submitting the application to graduate, completing the commencement participation agreement, RSVP their commitment to participate in the assigned commencement ceremony and receiving their guest tickets.

Commencement Attendance Portal: Tassel

Tassel is the system used to manage commencement operations, including graduate RSVPs, graduate communications, and grad passes. Graduates must create an account in Tassel to ensure their name is pronounced and listed correctly for the commencement ceremony. 

RSVP is required for commencement attendance.
