Career and Academic Opportunities

The Master of Science in Civil Engineering is a natural follower of the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. This accelerated pathway will give students a unique preparation for advanced positions, such as project manager, engineering manager, senior engineer, etc. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, salaries for individuals holding a civil engineering master’s degree are more than 10 percent higher than the average salary for civil engineers with only a bachelor’s degree. This pathway will allow a student to complete their undergraduate and graduate studies within 5 years.
